Account deletion
You may request deletion of your Forge account. This page explains how to start that process and what categories of data are involved. Final retention schedules belong in counsel-reviewed privacy documentation.
How to request deletion
If you are signed in, open Account settings and use Request account deletion. That records a request for our team — your account is not deleted instantly by the button.
After you sign in, use /settings/account to submit a request.
If you cannot access the app, email support@alphasynthai.com from your account email and ask for account deletion.
Categories of data affected
Deletion or anonymization typically targets the following, subject to legal exceptions below:
- Account data — authentication identifiers, email, and account-level settings tied to your user id.
- Profile data — public profile fields (username, bio, avatar, links, skills) stored in your profile record.
- Project data — titles, descriptions, metadata, visibility, and related records for projects you own.
- Uploaded media — cover images, screenshots, and other files stored for your projects and profile where applicable.
- Comments and social signal — comments you authored, votes, follows, and in-app notifications tied to your account as permitted by policy.
What we may retain
- Legal and security: Records we must keep to comply with law, prevent fraud, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.
- Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify you.
Processing time
Requests are typically reviewed within 30 days (indicative timeline). Complex cases may take longer; support will confirm by email.
